DAN’S HORRIBLE HOLIDAY

One day there lived a boy in a crowded city. He bored with all the situation and atmosphere in the place where he lived in. His name is Daniel, usually he called Dan. Because of his own problem with his place, then he decided to go for having a holiday in West Alley village. It was a peaceful place with no pollution.

In the sunny morning after he came there, he walked around the village for sightseeing. Suddenly, his foot stopped on quay wall near the lake. He amazed with God creation, beautifulness of the lake. Only himself who were there to enjoy the atmosphere of the lake.
Moments later, there was a man who crossed in front of Dan with his boat. Dan interested for boating. Then Dan called him and got into the man’s boat. Dan started to go for boating. Few minutes later, something strange appeared near the boat. “Ah! Shit! That’s crocodile!” Dan shouted. “Come on, Dan! Row faster!” the man said to Dan. Then Dan and the man rowed the boat faster and faster.

When Dan tried to get faster, suddenly one of his feet was falling down to the water. He so surprised, the crocodile were too close to him. It was not a good situation. Dan tried to get in his one feet in boat, but it was too hard for him. “Watch out, Dan!!” said the man. The crocodile came closer to Dan. It bit his feet. “Oh no!”

Dan felt so bad with that. But there was an oar held by Dan. “Use your oar and hit the crocodile, Dan!” said the man. “Ok, wait. I’ll do it” Dan said. Dan hit the crocodile’s head again and again. But the crocodile still didn’t loose his bit to Dan. With the best efforts done by Dan, slowly the crocodile loosed his bit. It left Dan and the man. “Thanks, God. You are so good to me” Dan praised to God. “And thanks a lot, Sir.” Dan said. “Ok, Dan. Anytime. Be careful, ok?” the man said. Dan could get on his feet on the boat though he hurts.
The man rowed his boat to the land, and he helped to look for Dan. After that, Dan felt little bit better. That was terrible holiday that had done by Dan in a beautiful lake. It was unforgettable memory for him. He will never forget it in his life.

REINFORCEMENT DAN PUNISHMENT Penguatan  (reinforcement ) adalah konsekuensi yang meningkatkan probabilitas bahwa suatu perilaku akan terjadi. Sebaliknya, hukuman ( punishment ) adalah konsekuensi yang menurunkan probabilitas terjadinya suatu perilaku. Menurut Skinner penguatan berarti memperkuat, penguatan dibagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu : 1.       Penguatan positi f   adalah penguatan berdasarkan prinsi p  bahwa frekuensi respons meningkat karena diikuti dengan stimulus yang mendukung ( rewarding).  Bentuk-bentuk penguatan positif adalah berupa hadiah (permen, kado, makanan, dll), perilaku (senyum, menganggukkan kepala untuk menyetujui, bertepuk tangan, mengacungkan jempol), atau penghargaan (nilai A, Juara 1 dsb). 2.       Penguatan negati f ,   adalah penguatan berdasarkan prinsi p  bahwa frekuensi respons meningkat karena diikuti dengan penghilangan stimulus yang merugikan (tidak menyenangkan).
